Visit our cats, puppies, and small dogs during our open hours.
Kennel walkthroughs have limited hours to allow staff to perform final
walks and tuck the dogs in for the night.
Adoption Center Hours:
Monday - Friday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Kennel Walkthrough Hours:
Everyday 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Walkthroughs and visits are weather permitting to ensure
the health and safety of our animals.
Adoptions are based on a first come, first served basis and
stop 30 minutes before closing.

An interaction with your current dog is required if:

Your dog is dog-selective or dog-reactive.

The dog you are interested in is dog-selective or dog-reactive.
If you're unsure about how the interaction might go, our Canine Team is happy to assist and ensure a safe introduction between your dog and the dog you’re interested in.
Should you decide to bring your dog, their current vaccination record is required.

*Specific purebred dogs/puppies can be priced higher. This increased price helps to cover medical/surgical expenses of other dogs in care.

The fee includes:

Spay/Neuter surgery for unsterilized pets

Dogs are dewormed, tested for heartworms
-
If negative, they receive a 30-day heartworm preventative every month that they are here at SPCA Florida.

If positive, treatment is paid for by the Guardian Angel Fund at SPCA Florida’s Medical Center, and receive vaccinations for canine distemper, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and rabies (if age-appropriate)
